Her career progressed very quickly after she proved the doubters right. Sally Singer was the "Vogue Magazine" interviewer that gave her one her first breaks in 2007. The year 2009 was the first time she appeared as a model in "Glamour Magazine" piece "These Bodies are Beautiful at any size". Graham was in the news for the second time in 2009 as she appeared in a controversy-making Lane Bryant commercial that ultimately was banned across the globe. At the time that the ad was removed from YouTube and was removed from the site, it had been watched by more than 800,000. The issue became unbearable and she addressed it in The "Tonight Tonight Show" host by Jay Leno. Graham soon became famous, and today is considered one of America's top plus-size models. Grande started performing and singing in her teens. When she was in 2008, the singer got a role in her first Broadway production 13 shortly thereafter, and began playing small parts in television shows. Her role on Victorious, a Nickelodeon TV show, in the year 2010 was her big break. The character she played was Cat Valentine, an adolescent who was enrolled in a school of performing arts. After the cancellation of the sitcom her character was Sam & Cat.
