Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5th, 1964 in New York, New York U.S.A. She is an American actress known for portraying powerful, but fragile characters. Linney is from a theatre background, since her father is the playwright Romulus Linney. She studied Arts Theatre School at Moscow, then graduated with her M.F.A. from Juilliard School. New York City. She immediately began performing on Broadway and eventually receiving praise for her performances on stage in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
